Today we will be looking into the functions of the instant messaging software made by Microsoft corporation,
the MSN live messenger,
In this session we will be focusing on how to change the display name and the user's personal message
When the messenger is lunched,
this will be the initial screen available to you
enter your email and password to log into msn
Once logged in,
this is the main messenger window.
At the top is the user's display name,
below that is the user's personal message currently in use
To change the display name and personal message,
we can use either one of the two method i'm about to show you.
First method,
Select personal from the side tab.
At the first field enter the display name you want others to see,
Below that enter the personal message
after you are finished select ok to save your changes
Second method,
is changing the name and user message from the main window
Click on the arrow beside the current user name to bring out a drop down menu
At the bottem of the menu we see options again,
go into options an repeat the process mentioned before.
To change the user's personal message simply click on the current user's personal message,
By doing so this allows changes to the message to be made.
